IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The table shows the number of visitors to Ashdown Museum before and after refurbishment, while the pie charts illustrates the result of surveys about visitors satisfaction during the same period.
The tabular data shows total number of visitors of Ashdown Museum , before the refurbishment there were 74,000 visitors and after the refurbishment there were 92,000 visitors.
The chart compares five types of feelings and shows after and before refurbishment data during year. Year before the refurbisment, 40% of visitors disappointed. However, 30% of tourist satisfied. 15% of tourist very satisfied. 10% of visitors extrimely dissatisfied and 5% of tourist do not gives any response.Then year after refurbishment,40% of visitors satisfied. Moreover, 35% of visitors very satisfied. 15% of tourist dissatisfied. 5% of visitors very satisfied as well as 5% of visitors do not gives any response.
Overall, after refurbishment period visitors increased. As well as, visitors satisfaction lavel also increased.
