IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are two diagrams which illustrate the different percentages of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of visitors before refurbishment and after refurbishment of Ashdown Museum.
Firstly, before the refurbishment 74,000 visitors went to Ashdown Museum and mostly 40 percent of people were dissatisfied and only 15 percent of people were very satisfied.somepeople gave no response that were 5 persent,someother just satsfied were 30 persent and 10 percent were very dissatisfied.
secondly, after the refurbishment 92,000 people visit the Ashdown Museum satisfied people increased to 40 percent and some people were very satisfied that were 35 percent.Only 15 percent people were dissatisfied and and few people remaind very dissatisfeid that were 5 percent.Before and after refurbishment only 5 percent not given any response.
Comparison of both percentages shows that after refurbishment many people were satissfied and enjoying during their Ashdown Museum visit.Only little people remain who were dissatisfied and not enjoyed more well during visit.
