IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The two pie charts shows the visitors visiting to Ashdown Museum between two intervals before and after upgrading.
Overall, after repairing the Museum the response was good with high percent of satisfied at rate of 40%, 35% of very satisfied, 15% of dissatisfied whereas the of 5% remains neutral for two periods.
In detail, intially when the Museum was built there was high percentage of 40% dissatisfied and 30% of satisfied which was resulted quite opposite after museum upgraded with 40% of satisfied and 15% of dissatisfied. The percentage of Very satisfied response was very high rate of 35% compared to before repairing of 15% similarly very dissatisfied was less of 5% and no response stayed negotiable.
Total number of visitors were more with 92,000 after upgrading the museum then 74,000 before repairing the mesum. After refurbishment of the Ashdown museum there was very good response of the visitors.
