The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
These two pictures shows the total number of visitors to Ashdown Museum before and after refurbished, and the second image tells about the results of surveys of visitor satisfaction.
In image A, before the Ashdown Museum refurbishment the number of visitors were 74,000. While, after refurbishment a sudden growth in numbers can be observed and numbers jumped from 74,000 to 92,000. This shows the positive sign, moreover the growth in the visitors after changes.
In the image B, two comparisions are shown, on the left image satisfaction results been displayed for year before refurbishment, moreover on the right side of the image, the year after refurbisment satisfaction results can be seen. A huge positive impact can be experienced, people are much satisfied now than before in percantage from 15% to 30% now, additionally now lesser people have given feedback of dissatisfied or very dissatisfied. The number of No response remains content.
