IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The table provide information about numbers of tourist to ashdown museum before and after the years it was refurbished.And the pie chart shows proportion results of survey ho visitors satisfied to the visit, during both time periods.
overall, after the museum refurbished the number of people were increased compare to before refurbished museum. And the percentage of people who dissatisfied visit the museum before the refurbishment was 40% and after the refurbishment of museum the satisfaction of individuals increased to same level of dissatisfaction before the refurbishment.
In details, 74,000 visitors before the refurbishment and it was 92,000 after the refurbishment that was high compare to before. And satisfactions level ater the refurbishment was 40% and before refurbishment the same percentage for dissatisfaction.
In contrast,after the refurbishment the 5% for both the people were very dissatisfied and the individuals who had no response. Also it is the same proportion goes for before refurbishment for no response visitors.
The second high propotion were very satisfied for after refurbishment during year and almost half of proportion of its goes for before refurbishment. 10 % of the proportion of very dissatisfied before and 15% after refurbishment.
To sum up, the high proportion of satisfied persons were after and this is same proportion for before and least proportion for dissatisfied.
