IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table and pie charts show the number of visitors to Ashdown Museum and the results of visitor satisfaction surveys before and after its refurbishment.
Overall, the number of visitors increased after the refurbishment. In addition, visitor satisfaction improved considerably, as the proportion of people who were satisfied or very satisfied rose, while dissatisfaction declined.
Before the refurbishment, the museum received 74,000 visitors, compared with 92,000 in the following year. This represents an increase of 18,000 visitors.
Regarding satisfaction, only 15% of visitors were very satisfied before the refurbishment, while 30% were satisfied. In contrast, 40% were dissatisfied and a further 10% were very dissatisfied. The remaining 5% gave no response.
After the refurbishment, the percentage of very satisfied visitors more than doubled, rising to 35%. The proportion who were satisfied remained at 40%. Meanwhile, dissatisfaction fell significantly from 40% to 15%, although the percentage who were very dissatisfied decreased from 10% to 5%. The share of visitors giving no response stayed unchanged at 5%.
