IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The table represents total number of people who visited to Ashdown Museum before and after the year of refurbishment.In the meanwhile, the given two pie charts are illustrating level of satisfcation of visitors during both phases.

Overall, it can be seen that, the number of visitors were increased in huge number after refurbishment year.Similarly,

before reconstruction, number of people falling in disastisfaction category was at the top. However, it declined significantly after the year of maintainance.Likewise,number of visitors belonging to both satisfaction groups were accelarted. Moving further, group of people who were very disappointed reducedd into half number of previous year. Nonetheless, there were few people who did not express any views in both years.

The table shows that from 74,000 to 92,000, the vistors were risen in total number. In the same manner, people who were highly satisfied heightened from 15 percent to 35 percent. Moving further, there was a parmount increase in number of satisfied people. On the other hand, it was observed that only 5 percent of tourists were highly dissatisfied after the maintainace year.

In the same way, it can be seen that there was a huge fall in level of disatisfaction level, it was recorded as only 15 percent which was 40 percent before. Nonetheless, 5 percent people did not give any opinion during both time periods.
