IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

THE TABLE AND CHARTS BELOW COMPARES THE NUMBER OF VISITORS TO ASHDOWN MUSEUM THROUGHOUT THE YEAR BEFORE AND THE YEAR AFTER IT WAS RENOVATED.

OVERALL, THE TOTAL NUMBER OF VISITORS INCREASED AFTER THE RENOVATION. AFTER THE REFURBISHMENT, THE SATISFACTION LEVEL OF PEOPLE WAS INCREASED AND ONLY FEW NUMBERS OF PEOPLE WERE NOT HAPPY BY THE WORK.

THE DECISION OF UPGRADING THE MUSEUM HAD SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED THE NUMBER OF VISITORS FROM 74,000 TO 92,000. MOREOVER, BEFORE THE REFURBISHMENT, AROUND HALF OF THE TOTAL PEOPLE (45%) WERE SATISFIED, AMONG WHICH ONLY 15% WERE VERY SATISFIED. HOWEVER, HUGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT IS 40% OF THE TOTAL VISITORS WERE DISSATISFIED FROM THE MUSEUM. FURTHERMORE, 10% OF THEM WERE VERY UNHAPPY AND 5% HAD NOT GIVEN ANY RESPONSE.

AFTER THE MUSEUM WAS COMPLETELY UPGRADED, THE SATISFACTION RATIO DRAMATICALLY ROSE TO 75% IN WHICH 35% OF THE VISITORS WERE VERY MUCH SATISFIED. SIMILARLY, THE PERCENTAGE OF DISSATISFACTION DRASTICALLY DECREASED TO 20%, WHERE 5% OF THEM WHERE VERY DISAPPOINTED AND THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WITH NO RESPONSE REMAINED THE SAME.
