IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors how satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
Total number of people visit to Ashdown Museum during the year of refurbishment were 74 thousand. In a survey which was held in that years showed that 15% perople were very satisfied, 30% were satisfied, 40% were dissatisfied, 10% were very dissatisfied and 5% gave no response.
On the other hand, 92 thousand people visited Ashdown Museum after refurbishment. Survey which was held after refurbishment showed that 35% were very satisfied, 40% were satisfied, 15% were dissatisfied, 5% were very dissatisfied and 5% gave no response.
By comparing two surverys, we come to know that there is a big increase in people who were very satisfied and there was also a 10% increase in people who were satisfied. There was also a 25% drop in people who were dissatisfied. We can also notice that there was a 5% drop in people who were very dissatisfied before.
The Conslusion is, alot of people were happy after the refurbishment.
