Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the main parts of the task by presenting the overall visitor numbers and summarizing the survey results for both periods. However, the information is only partially covered, and the reporting of specific data points is confused. For instance, the numbers and percentages from the charts are misread or awkwardly expressed, such as stating "40 number visitors accounted for not satisfied" and getting mixed up with the categories in the final paragraph where dissatisfied and satisfied figures are incorrectly compared. An overview is attempted, noting the increase in visitor numbers and the shift in satisfaction, but the lack of accurate detail and minor confusion in data selection prevent the response from achieving a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The text presents a coherent overall arrangement and attempts a logical structure with a clear introduction and an overall summary paragraph. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical and referencing is occasionally unclear. Words like "whereas", "Majorly", and "Moreover" are used to signal transitions, but the progression between sentences within paragraphs feels a bit disjointed due to awkward phrasing. Paragraphing is present and separates the introduction, overview, and body details, but the internal organization of the body paragraphs lacks smooth flow, leading to a somewhat repetitive and clunky presentation of the data.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The lexical range is limited but minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as "refurbishment", "redevelopment", and "significantly increased", but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as "how often people are visiting to", "feedback response", and "dissatisfaction level of visitors reduce by 25 and reaching to15". There are also awkward expressions like "satisfied level" and "positive way". While the meaning can generally be understood, these inaccuracies and awkward phrasing restrict the score at this level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

There is a limited range of sentence structures, with frequent errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. The writer attempts some complex sentences, but these are often faulty, such as in the opening sentence ("The given table shares information about how often people are visiting... whereas pie chart illustrates...") and in prepositional or verb patterns like "visitors do not even response for feedback" and "were results to satisfied after redevelopment". Errors in article usage, verb tense consistency, and subject-verb agreement are frequent throughout the response, reflecting a heavy reliance on simple structures with persistent inaccuracies when complexity is attempted.
