Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.5

The response covers all parts of the task well, providing both an overview of the table and pie charts and selecting key data points to report and compare. You successfully noted the increase in visitor numbers from 74,000 to 92,000 after the refurbishment, and accurately contrasted the shift in satisfaction levels, observing that dissatisfied visitors dominated the pre-renovation survey (40%), while satisfied visitors formed the largest group post-refrenovation (40%). The main features are clearly identified and supported with accurate figures from the provided data. To reach the highest bands, the selection of data could be even more fully integrated into a seamless comparison, though your coverage here is already robust, well-rounded, and directly addresses every component of the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some overall organization, as you have attempted to separate your introduction, overview, and body paragraphs, but the response lacks a clear and smooth overall progression. Cohesive devices are at times inadequate, mechanical, or awkward, such as the abrupt transitions between sentences like 'By viewing the numbers of people...' and 'subsequently, smaller rations made up by...'. Additionally, referencing and paragraph structure feel slightly disjointed, with some sentences awkwardly broken up, such as placing '( 92,000) in following year. of renovation.' across a line break. To improve coherence, you need to ensure that ideas flow logically from one sentence to the next using more natural cohesive links, and maintain standard paragraphing without fragmented sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate to communicate the basic meaning of the charts, but it contains noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and collocation that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. For instance, phrases like 'tourists number' instead of 'number of tourists', 'non responder category', and 'smaller rations' instead of 'proportions' or 'shares' reveal limitations in lexical control. You make valid attempts to use less common vocabulary such as 'refurbishment', 'proportion', and 'subsequently', but inaccuracies in spelling, punctuation associated with vocabulary items, and collocations prevent the response from achieving a higher band. Focusing on precise word choice and natural collocations will help elevate your lexical score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response displays a limited range of sentence structures, and your attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing articles (e.g., 'after renovation of museum' instead of 'after the renovation of the museum'), preposition errors (e.g., 'in years, after and before' and 'fallows by'), and awkward punctuation and spacing around parentheses. These errors persist and can cause some difficulty for the reader. To move up to higher bands, you need to demonstrate a greater variety of complex structures with improved accuracy, paying closer attention to subject-verb agreement, article use, and prepositional patterns.
