Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.5
You cover the main features accurately: visitor numbers rose from 74,000 to 92,000, positive satisfaction increased, and dissatisfaction fell. The overview clearly identifies the broad contrast, and the body supports it with the key percentages, including the unchanged 5% who gave no response. This gives the account a clear, well-supported focus. To make the reporting more precise, describe the satisfaction figures consistently as proportions or percentages; “the number of visitors who satisfied” can blur the distinction between visitor totals and survey shares. Also, “satisfaction level rose sharply” is a little broad because the chart shows a shift in responses rather than one overall satisfaction score. More exact phrasing would strengthen an already effective selection of features.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall progression: an introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs that separate visitor totals and positive responses from negative responses. Linking phrases such as “Overall,” “Moreover,” and “In addition” help readers follow the comparisons, and the figures are generally grouped sensibly. However, “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” create a somewhat mechanical contrast, and the first body paragraph combines the visitor total with satisfaction data without a particularly smooth transition. Some references, such as “this value,” are less direct than naming the total again. Use more natural transitions and organise each paragraph around a clearly signposted comparison to make cohesion more flexible.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant task vocabulary, including “refurbishment,” “proportion,” “decline,” and “account,” and the reader can understand the main comparisons. However, the range and control are limited by repeated wording such as “before refurbishment” and “after renovation,” as well as inaccurate or awkward choices: “visitors satisfaction level,” “individuals with satisfied response,” and “the visitors those who did not give no response.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “comapres,” “vistors,” “valuse,” and “reponse,” which reduce the impression of accuracy. Build a more reliable set of collocations for describing survey results and check spelling carefully; this would make the vocabulary more precise and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of sentence forms, including comparisons with “while” and clauses beginning “showing a rise,” so the response is not limited to short simple sentences. Nevertheless, grammatical control is inconsistent, particularly in verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “before renovation total 74000 vistors visit museum” lacks a clear grammatical frame, while “the proportion of tourist who disatisfied and very dissatisfied decline” has errors in number, verb form, and tense. “The visitors those who did not give no reponse account same proportion” is also difficult to parse. Use complete, carefully structured sentences and maintain past tense when reporting the two periods. More accurate control of these patterns would improve clarity.
