Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You identify the main overall trends accurately: visitor numbers rose from 74,000 to 92,000, and satisfaction improved, with the satisfied and very satisfied shares increasing. The key figures you include are correct, and the overview gives the reader a clear summary. However, the survey data are only partly covered: you do not report the declines in dissatisfied visitors (40% to 15%) and very dissatisfied visitors (10% to 5%), nor mention that no response remained at 5%. The concluding claim that refurbishment had a positive impact is reasonable, but the comparison would be more complete with these figures. The response is also 9 words below the required minimum, so it needs a little more detail to meet the task fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The response is organised in a clear sequence: an introduction, an overview, visitor totals, satisfaction figures and a conclusion. This gives the information a logical progression, and linking expressions such as “Overall,” “Similarly” and “Regarding visitor satisfaction” help guide the reader. The main limitation is that the satisfaction comparison is incomplete, so the final paragraph repeats the overview rather than adding a fuller synthesis of the survey results. There are also a few small presentation issues, including missing spaces in “therefurbishment” and “proportion ofsatisfied,” and the space before the comma in “In conclusion ,” interrupts the otherwise clear flow. Grouping the positive and negative satisfaction changes together would make the comparison more cohesive.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.5

You use an adequate range of task-related vocabulary, including “attracted,” “proportion,” “increased significantly” and “declined,” which communicates the main trends clearly. There is some flexibility in how you describe the data, although several choices and spelling slips reduce precision. “Visiters” and “visiter” are misspellings, while “visitors satisfaction” would be more naturally expressed as “visitor satisfaction.” The phrase “during this two periods” is also not idiomatic. In addition, “positive impact” is a broad evaluation; a more precise description of the observed change would suit an academic report. More accurate collocations and careful spelling would strengthen the control of vocabulary without requiring unnecessarily complex wording.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.5

You use a mix of simple and more developed sentence forms, and several sentences are controlled, such as “This figure rose to 92,000 in the following year, representing an increase of 18,000 visitors.” The overview also combines contrasting trends effectively. Some grammatical errors remain, however: “during this two periods” has a demonstrative and number agreement problem, and “visitors satisfaction” needs a possessive or a noun modifier construction. In “Similarly the proportion of satisfied visitors increased,” a comma after the introductory adverb would improve punctuation. The response is generally understandable, but more consistent control of agreement, possessive forms and punctuation would make the complex comparisons more accurate.
