Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.5

You cover the key information accurately: visitor numbers rose from 74,000 to 92,000, and the satisfaction figures show increases in both positive categories and declines in both negative ones. Your overview identifies these main trends, while the body supports them with relevant comparisons, including the unchanged 5% giving no response. This is a well-focused summary with a clear overall message. To make the overview more precise, avoid the broad claim that satisfaction increased “gradually”: the charts compare two periods, rather than showing a gradual change. Also, “overall satisfaction” could be explicitly linked to the combined rise in satisfied and very satisfied responses. The final claim about a positive impact is reasonable, but keep it framed as an association rather than proof of cause.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction and overview are followed by visitor totals and then satisfaction comparisons. The sequence within the final body paragraph is especially clear, moving from positive responses to negative responses and then no response. Linking expressions such as “Similarly,” “In contrast,” and “Meanwhile” help show these relationships. However, the opening is difficult to follow because the first sentence is fragmented and the overview contains awkwardly joined ideas. “Furthermoreover” is an incorrect connector, and the separate “In conclusion” repeats the overview rather than adding a distinct final point. For stronger progression, use clean paragraph boundaries and make the overview a concise, complete statement before presenting the detailed figures.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some suitable task vocabulary, including “proportion,” “respondents,” “fell considerably,” and “remained unchanged,” and these choices help describe the survey data precisely. However, spelling and word-form errors are conspicuous in the opening and overview, including “survery,” “satisficatiin,” “refuribishment,” and “incresed.” Some phrasing is also imprecise or unnatural: “the number of people was increased” and “the satisfaction rate of the people” do not express the trends idiomatically. The range is adequate for reporting the figures, but repeated reliance on “people” and “rate” limits precision. Proofread spelling carefully and use standard collocations such as “visitor numbers increased” and “the proportion of visitors who were satisfied.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

There is a mix of simple and more developed sentence forms, and several sentences communicate comparisons clearly, such as “15% of respondents were very satisfied before the refurbishment, compared with 35% afterwards.” The sentence reporting the unchanged response share is also controlled. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in the introduction and overview: “The table and the pie chart illustrate the number of visitorsAshdown Museum” lacks a necessary grammatical connection, while “the number of people was increased” uses an incorrect passive construction. The overview also has a sentence fragment beginning “overall,” and punctuation spacing is inconsistent. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the main data, but complete sentence structures, accurate verb forms, and careful punctuation would improve control.
