Cleary the number of visitor have increased after the museum is renewed and more people are satisfied from there visit.
Overall, there are 18000 more visitors from the last year and total of 100 visitors were surveyed in both years where numbers changed dramatically. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the main direction of change accurately: visitor numbers rose from 74,000 to 92,000, satisfaction improved, and dissatisfaction fell. You also report several relevant figures, including very satisfied visitors increasing from 15% to 35%, dissatisfied visitors dropping from 40% to 15%, and no response remaining unchanged. However, the account is only partial: it omits the rise in the satisfied group from 30% to 40% and gives little detail on the very dissatisfied category beyond its percentage reduction. The overview is brief and some comparisons are not fully explained. The response is also below the required 150 words. To develop the report, cover the main categories more evenly and make the key contrasts explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic structure, moving from an introduction to an overview and then to selected comparisons. This helps the reader identify the general message. However, the progression is limited: the final paragraph repeats the overall conclusion rather than adding a clearly organised comparison, and the satisfaction categories are not presented in a consistent sequence. Linking is also sometimes awkward, as in “but if we look to the previous years,” while “Overall” is used twice without adding much cohesion. Group the figures into positive and negative responses, then compare before and after within each group. Clearer paragraph development and more precise links between comparisons would make the report easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “refurbished,” “surveyed,” “satisfied,” and “dissatisfied,” so the topic is generally clear. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, such as “satisfied from there visit,” “the museum is renewed,” and “did not gave the response.” “Cleary” is also misspelled, and “number of visitor” is not expressed naturally. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though the intended meaning can usually be recovered. Aim for precise reporting language and accurate collocations, for example “visitors were satisfied with their visit” and “the museum was refurbished.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentences, such as the comparison beginning “Out of 100,” but control is inconsistent, and many sentences contain grammatical errors. Examples include “before and after the it is refurbished,” “the number of visitor have increased,” and “people who did not gave the response.” These show problems with articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction. The sentence “Overall, there are 18000 more visitors from the last year” also has an unclear grammatical relationship between the comparison and the time reference. Most structures are simple, with limited accurate variety. Practise forming clear past-tense comparisons, checking subject–verb agreement, and proofreading each sentence for articles and verb forms.
