Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main overall changes: visitor numbers rose from 74,000 to 92,000, and satisfaction improved after refurbishment. You also report several key survey figures accurately, including dissatisfaction falling from 40% to 15%, satisfaction rising from 30% to 40%, and very satisfied responses increasing from 15% to 35%. However, the overview is unclear when it says satisfied visitors “become one number,” and it incorrectly suggests that dissatisfied visitors were the largest group after refurbishment; the 40% figure applies to the year before, while 40% satisfied was the largest category afterwards. The 5% very dissatisfied and 5% no-response figures are not reported, and the survey values would be clearer if identified as percentages. Overall, the main features are covered, but some comparisons need more precise explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and separate paragraphs for visitor totals and survey results. This makes the information generally easy to follow, and linking phrases such as “Overall,” “On the other hand,” and “In contrast” help signal comparisons. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “satisfied ones overtake these and become one number” does not clearly explain which categories are being compared, and “This shows that” repeats the preceding point rather than adding useful progression. The survey paragraph also moves through categories without a fully consistent comparison pattern. Use clearer references and organise the satisfaction figures by contrasting the before and after results, so each comparison is immediately understandable.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a reasonable range of task-related vocabulary, including “refurbishment,” “considerable increase,” “surge,” and “remains stable.” These choices help describe change, and the intended meaning is usually recoverable. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “tuorists,” “satistfied,” “dercrease,” and “constraste.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “the result about visitors satisfaction,” “most number of individuals,” and “jump from 30 to 40” do not sound suitably controlled for an academic report. Prefer precise chart language such as “the proportion of visitors,” “the largest group,” and “rose from.” Check spelling carefully and avoid using “numbers” when the chart reports percentages.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrastive construction beginning “On the other hand” and a relative clause in “which was 15 before refurbishment.” The main message is generally understandable, but grammatical control is uneven. There are agreement errors in “The pie charts compares” and “Results of surveys presents,” and the opening sentence runs directly into the next without a space after the full stop. Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “before a year of refurbishment” and “a large number of people were dissatisfied before refurbishment that was 40.” Some sentences rely on awkward structures that obscure the comparison. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, article use, and punctuation, while keeping comparisons in complete, clearly formed sentences.
