Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover both the visitor totals and the satisfaction surveys, and the main figures you report are accurate: visitors rose from 74,000 to 92,000, while satisfaction increased from 30% to 40% and very high satisfaction from 15% to 35%. Your overview identifies the rise in attendance and the stronger satisfaction results after refurbishment. However, the overview is not fully clear, and the comparison of dissatisfied visitors is confusing: this group fell from 40% to 15%, rather than increasing before refurbishment. The very dissatisfied group also fell from 10% to 5%, while no response remained at 5%. Reporting these key contrasts clearly, and distinguishing the two satisfaction categories, would make the summary more complete and precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and paragraphs covering attendance and survey results. This gives the reader a basic route through the information. However, progression within the survey paragraph is difficult to follow, particularly in “the number of result of dissatisfied visitors increased before refurbishment period, but it will decrese after next period.” The linking phrases “on the one hand” and “on the other hand” are used mechanically, and several ideas are joined with full stops or commas in ways that make relationships unclear. Grouping the positive responses together, then the negative responses and no-response figures, would create a clearer sequence. Use fewer, more precise connectors and make each sentence express one comparison.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant task vocabulary, including “refurbishment,” “visitors,” “satisfaction,” and “percentage,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or repetitive. “The table charts” is not an appropriate description of the table, while “tourists visit” and “satisfied visitors who visits” are awkward formulations. There are also spelling errors such as “ashdoms,” “museam,” “illustartes,” and “decrese,” which reduce the accuracy and polish of the report. Aim for precise chart language and vary repeated terms: for example, describe figures as “accounted for” a percentage or say that attendance “rose.” Proofreading spelling would also strengthen clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a contrast with “whereas” and a comparison introduced by “however.” Nevertheless, errors in agreement, articles, tense, and sentence boundaries occur across the response. For example, “the table charts represents” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “visitors who visits” does not match the plural subject. The phrase “it will decrese after next period” uses an unsuitable future form for describing completed survey periods. Several sentences also run together, as in the overview and the final paragraph, with punctuation that does not clearly separate clauses. Practise accurate present/past reporting structures and check each sentence for a clear subject, verb, and boundary.
