Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both the visitor totals and satisfaction results, and the main comparisons are generally accurate: attendance rose from 74,000 to 92,000, while dissatisfaction was highest before refurbishment and satisfaction was higher afterwards. The overview identifies these broad changes, and the figures for the main satisfaction categories are mostly reported correctly. However, some points are unclear or incomplete. For example, “40% visitors are dissatisfied” needs to be tied explicitly to the year before refurbishment, and the 5% “very dissatisfied” and 5% “no response” figures in the later survey are omitted. The statement that people “prefer to visit” after refurbishment also goes beyond what the visitor totals alone establish; describe the increase in attendance instead.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and separate discussion of attendance and survey results. This gives the reader a basic route through the information. However, progression is uneven, and several linking phrases are mechanical or do not clarify relationships, such as “To move to the next side” and “On the other side of topic.” The discussion also repeats the overview’s points about 40% dissatisfaction and satisfaction without adding much comparison. Some references are difficult to follow, particularly “among them 74,000 people” and “that was 40%.” Use clearer transitions such as “Before refurbishment” and “By contrast, after refurbishment,” and group the satisfaction figures by period to make comparisons easier to track.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main information, including “visitors,” “dissatisfied,” “satisfied,” and “refurbishment.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make the account less natural. Examples include “people are visit,” “ratio of visitors satisfaction,” “viewers,” and “satisfide”; “visitors” is the appropriate term for people attending a museum, and “proportion of visitors” is more suitable than “ratio” here. There are also misspellings such as “refurbiushment,” “luckly,” and “lager.” Aim for accurate, consistent chart language, for example “the proportion who were satisfied” and “attendance increased,” rather than relying on awkward phrases such as “prefer to visit.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response attempts some longer sentence forms, including “Apart from it, 40% visitors are dissatisfied which is the significant number for before refurbished,” but control is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur in examples such as “how many people are visit,” “40% visitors,” and “92,000 people which is very high number they visited.” Tense use also shifts between present and past when describing the survey results, for instance “visitors are very satisfied” alongside “were dissatisfied.” These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Build accuracy with straightforward past-tense reporting and complete clauses, then add more complex comparisons once those patterns are secure.
