The data depicts how the rate of the number of visitors changes to Ashdown Museum prior and after its refurbishment. The pie charts presented that the percentil of the guests who visited before the rennovation was much dissatisfied than the guests who visited after some changes were made.

The information provides how the visitors increases in number after its reburmishment. Prior the changes there are a total of 74,000 visitors, with an increase of 18,000 after the rennovation. The chart shows that percentile of satisfaction amongst the guests on the year before the reurbishment is lower than the satisfaction rating after changes has been done, with an average of 45% before and 75% after. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify the overall rise in visitor numbers, from 74,000 to 92,000, and recognise that satisfaction improved after refurbishment. However, the survey figures are substantially misinterpreted: before refurbishment, 45% were satisfied or very satisfied and 50% were dissatisfied or very dissatisfied; afterwards, the corresponding figures were 75% and 20%, not 55% dissatisfied. The claim that more visitors disliked the refurbishment also conflicts with the data. The response gives only limited detail about the survey categories and does not clearly compare the main changes, such as the rise in very satisfied visitors from 15% to 35%. A more accurate overview and carefully selected figures are needed for a fuller response to the task.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic overall structure, moving from an introduction to details and then a concluding paragraph. Some linking expressions, including “Prior the changes” and “On the contrary,” show an attempt to connect ideas. However, the progression is not consistently clear: the second paragraph shifts between visitor totals, satisfaction, and dissatisfaction without a well-organised comparison, and the conclusion introduces an unclear claim about visitors being “in favor of making some changes.” Connections between ideas are sometimes awkward or misleading. Group the information into a clear overview and a paragraph comparing the visitor totals and survey results, and use linking phrases only where the relationship between points is accurate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-related vocabulary, such as “visitors,” “satisfaction,” “dissatisfaction,” and “refurbishment,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “the rate of the number of visitors changes” is an awkward way to describe the total, while “percentil” and “percentile” are not the correct term for these survey proportions; use “percentage.” There are also repeated spelling errors, including “rennovation,” “reburmishment,” “dissatified,” and “conlusion.” Aim for precise chart language and check spelling, especially for key terms that recur.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the main topic can usually be understood. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. For example, “The information provides how the visitors increases in number” has an incorrect verb form and sentence pattern; “Prior the changes there are a total…” also has problems with the preposition and tense. In “the satisfaction rating … is lower … after changes has been done,” the tense and subject–verb agreement are faulty. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after full stops. Practise building accurate comparisons with clear subjects and verbs, such as “Visitor numbers increased from … to …” and “The proportion of satisfied visitors rose.”
