Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
According the two given diagrams , the reviews after a year were better than the last year.
In this first diagram the the number of people who were very satisfied were less than the second diagram. The number of distaisfied people decreased in the second diagram . All this shows that Museum was improved after the first survey . The year after the refurbishment were good for visitors beacuse in that year they were fascilitated with more features in the museum. All this become possible due to adding more features in the museum. the visitores were attracted and they enjoyed the visit in the year after the refurbishment than that in the year before the refurbishment. The number of visitors also increased and at that time the visitors were more satisfied . The number of satisfied visitors were increased and number of dissatisfied visitors were decreased after the year of refurbishment.
By this paragraph we can conclude that the museum was made better after the refurbishment .The owners worked very well after the first survey to overcome that problems .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify the broad direction of change: visitor numbers rose, satisfaction improved, and dissatisfaction fell after refurbishment. However, the response only partially reports the visual information. It gives no figures, omits the total visitor counts of 74,000 and 92,000, and does not distinguish the survey categories clearly. For example, “the number of people who were very satisfied were less” is a general comparison, while the chart shows this share rose from 15% to 35%; satisfied visitors rose from 30% to 40%, and dissatisfied visitors fell from 40% to 15%. The claim that new features caused these changes is not shown by the data. Include a concise overview and support it with the key figures.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic sequence, moving from a general comparison to changes in satisfaction and then a concluding statement. However, ideas are repeated rather than developed in a clear progression: the increase in satisfaction and decrease in dissatisfaction are stated several times, especially in “The number of satisfied visitors were increased” and the following sentence. There is no clear paragraphing to separate an overview from supporting details, and references such as “the first diagram” and “that problems” are not precise. The repeated connectors “All this” and “By this paragraph” also make the links feel mechanical. Group the visitor totals and survey results into distinct points, use accurate references, and avoid restating the same trend.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “refurbishment,” “satisfied,” “dissatisfied,” and “increased,” so the main topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several choices or spellings make the account less clear or natural. “Reviews” is not an accurate label for survey satisfaction, and “were facilitated with more features” does not express the intended idea naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “distaisfied,” “beacuse,” “fascilitated,” and “visitores.” Repeated use of “number” and “year” further limits variety. Use precise terms such as “proportion of visitors,” “survey responses,” and “visitor total,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response relies mainly on simple statements, with a few attempts to link ideas using “after” and “than.” Frequent errors in sentence structure and agreement make the writing less controlled. For example, “the number of people who were very satisfied were less” has faulty agreement and an unclear comparison; “The year after the refurbishment were good” also mismatches subject and verb. Articles and sentence boundaries are inconsistent, as in “Museum was improved” and the lowercase “the” after a full stop. The final sentence, “The owners worked very well after the first survey to overcome that problems,” contains an incorrect determiner and an unclear grammatical relationship. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build comparisons with clear, complete sentence patterns.
