Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You cover the main elements by reporting the rise in visitors from 74,000 to 92,000 and the broad improvement in satisfaction after refurbishment. Several figures are accurate: no response remains at 5%, very dissatisfied falls from 10% to 5%, and dissatisfied falls from 40% to 15%. This gives the response a clear, relevant overview and supports the main comparison. However, the survey data are not fully reported: the important increases in very satisfied visitors (15% to 35%) and satisfied visitors (30% to 40%) are not stated explicitly. The phrase “highest amount of satisfaction” is also unclear, and “decline by 15 percent” should identify the category and its final value. More precise coverage of these changes would make the summary more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and a paragraph describing figures. Linking expressions such as “Overall,” “To begin with,” and “Furthermore” help signal movement between points. The information is generally grouped by the before-and-after comparison, so the reader can follow the broad message. However, progression within the final paragraph is not always smooth: “Further,” “Furthermore,” “After,” and “Later” are used mechanically, and some references are unclear, particularly “the same level of individual.” The overview also repeats the idea of improvement without specifying the satisfaction categories. Organise the survey figures into clear contrasts—those becoming more satisfied and those becoming less dissatisfied—and use fewer, more precise transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt a range of task-related vocabulary, including “refurbished,” “satisfaction,” “decline,” and “significant rise,” which helps communicate the general trends. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive. “Travellers” is not the right term for museum visitors, while “the ratio of survey asking visitors” does not naturally describe survey results. “Modification” is repeated where “refurbishment” would be more precise, and phrases such as “highest amount of satisfaction” and “not satisfied at the highest level” make the meaning difficult to interpret. Spelling slips such as “durig,” “musem,” and “cleary” also reduce accuracy. Aim for standard chart language and use the satisfaction categories exactly as labelled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
There are attempts to use both simple and more complex forms, including “Overall, it is clearly visible that…” and the contrast introduced by “However.” The main figures and general direction of change can usually be understood. However, errors in sentence construction and verb forms are persistent enough to make some sentences awkward or unclear. For example, “The providing table describe” has an incorrect subject–verb pattern, and “74,000 visitors were visited” uses an unsuitable passive construction. “After refurbishment of musem it will rise” also shifts to an incorrect future form when describing past data. Articles and sentence boundaries need attention as well. Practise concise patterns such as “The table shows…” and “Visitor numbers rose from… to…” to improve control.
