Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify the broad comparison that dissatisfaction was highest before refurbishment and satisfaction was higher afterwards, and you correctly note that non-response remained constant. However, the response is only a minimal summary: it gives no figures for visitor totals or survey categories, and does not report the important shift from 40% dissatisfied before refurbishment to 15% afterwards, or the rise in satisfied and very satisfied responses. The overview is also imprecise because “satisfide visitor” does not distinguish the two positive categories. The response contains 84 words, below the required 150; this leaves the task substantially incomplete. Add a concise overview and support it with key figures and comparisons from both periods.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening sentence introduces the charts, followed by a separate overview beginning “Overall”. This gives the reader a simple starting structure. However, the first sentence is overloaded with several ideas joined by “and”, and the response ends without a developed comparison or supporting details, so progression is limited. The phrase “It also evident” does not clearly connect grammatically to the previous point, and “in a year before and after” makes the time comparison awkward. Use a clear introduction, an overview, and one or two detail paragraphs, grouping the satisfaction figures logically and using linking phrases such as “by contrast” or “while” where appropriate.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “visitors”, “refurbishment”, “ratio” and “satisfied”, and the reader can identify the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms make the meaning less natural: “Hear is presenting” is not an appropriate way to introduce a chart, and “ratio of satisfide visitor” is unclear. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “Dissatisifide”, “refurbisment” and “responsed”. Prefer precise terms such as “percentage” or “proportion” for survey results, and name the categories consistently as “satisfied” and “dissatisfied visitors”. Proofreading spelling and choosing standard chart-description phrases would improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts to combine ideas in longer sentences, but control is uneven and the range of sentence structures is limited. For example, “there are five stages shows” has incorrect agreement and verb form, while “the total number are given” also has a subject–verb agreement error. In “It also evident”, the verb “is” is missing, and “the ratio of not responsed visitor is constant in a year before and after” has an incomplete and awkward grammatical structure. These errors sometimes make the intended relationships difficult to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add controlled clauses: for example, “The proportion of dissatisfied visitors fell after refurbishment, while the visitor total increased.”
