Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover both the visitor totals and the satisfaction surveys, and the figures you report are generally consistent with the charts: visitors rose from 74,000 to 92,000, while satisfaction increased and dissatisfaction fell. Your final sentence gives a relevant overall trend, but the overview is brief and appears only at the end. The main comparison could be clearer: after refurbishment, the largest group was satisfied (40%), whereas before it, the largest group was dissatisfied (40%). Also, the survey figures are percentages, but this is not always made explicit—for example, “35 tourist are very pleased” should be identified as 35%. A clearer overview and more direct comparison of the dominant categories would make the key features more fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response follows a broadly sensible order: it introduces the visuals, gives the visitor totals, then describes the surveys before and after refurbishment. This makes the information possible to follow. However, the paragraphing is not clearly controlled, and the sequence relies heavily on basic transitions such as “first of all” and “After one year.” Some references are also unclear, as in “Here result of survey after and before of refurbishment year,” which does not establish the comparison smoothly. Group the information into a short introduction, an overview, and focused detail paragraphs, and use linking phrases that show contrast or change, such as “By contrast” and “Meanwhile.” This would create clearer progression and less mechanical cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant task vocabulary, including “refurbishment,” “satisfied,” “dissatisfied,” and “no response,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several choices are inaccurate or informal for describing survey data. “Sightseers” and “tourist” are not suitable substitutes for museum visitors, while “just pleased” and “very disappointed” do not consistently match the chart’s satisfaction categories. Spelling errors such as “vistors,” “asdown,” “musem,” and “incresed” are noticeable and sometimes make reading less fluent. Use the chart’s precise labels consistently, and choose standard reporting language such as “respondents” or “visitors.” Careful proofreading would also improve accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response communicates the main figures, but sentence structure and grammatical control are uneven. There are some simple clauses, alongside attempts at longer constructions, yet errors in articles, agreement, tense, and sentence boundaries often make the writing awkward. For example, “74,000 is total number of vistors” needs an article and a clearer reporting structure, while “the number of vistors are incresed” has an agreement and verb-form problem. The opening also runs several ideas together without clear sentence punctuation. Practise accurate patterns such as “The total number of visitors was…” and “After refurbishment, the proportion who were satisfied rose to…”. More consistently controlled sentences would make your comparisons easier to understand.
