Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You cover the main features and report the figures accurately: visitors rose from 74,000 to 92,000, dissatisfaction fell from 40% to 15%, and the no-response share stayed at 5%. Your overview also identifies the broad improvement in satisfaction, while the body includes comparisons for all five survey categories. This meets the task well, and the accurate selection of key changes shows some of the stronger feature-reporting expected at the next level. However, the overview is somewhat general, and the visitor increase is not stated precisely in the body: “About 18000 visitors are surged” is unclear rather than a clear comparison. Make the overview more concise and quantify the increase as 18,000 visitors to strengthen the report.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, an overview, and a paragraph of supporting figures. The information is generally grouped sensibly, and words such as “while,” “however,” and “also” help signal comparisons. However, progression within the final paragraph is somewhat list-like, with each category introduced in a similar way, and some links are awkward or unclear, as in “The count of visitors increased from before and after refurbishment.” Capitalisation after the paragraph break (“Overall, The…”) also interrupts the presentation. Organise the body around the main contrasts—for example, rising satisfaction versus falling dissatisfaction—and use clearer references to the two years. This would make cohesion less mechanical.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for describing the charts, including “dissatisfied,” “remained constant,” “increased,” and “dramatically fallen,” so the reader can understand the main comparisons. There is also some attempt to vary wording with “tourists,” “visitors,” and “sightseers.” However, several choices are inaccurate or unnatural for this task: “tourists” and “sightseers” are less suitable than “visitors,” while “surged” and “fallen” are used in awkward combinations. “The number which remained constant” is also imprecise. These noticeable collocation and word-choice problems limit precision. Prefer standard chart language such as “the number of visitors rose” and “the proportion of dissatisfied visitors fell,” and use consistent terms for the people surveyed.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer comparisons, including “The number of very satisfied was 15 percent before however it is surged to 35%.” This shows an effort to connect information, but control is uneven and several errors make sentences awkward or difficult to process. Examples include “The charts illustrates,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect, “The total number of tourists is increased,” which uses an incorrect verb form, and “About 18000 visitors are surged,” which has a faulty passive construction. Punctuation is also weak in the sentence joined by “before however.” Practise accurate past-tense reporting and straightforward comparative structures, such as “Visitor numbers rose from 74,000 to 92,000” and “The dissatisfied share fell from 40% to 15%.”
