Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowdays, many medical research projects are funded by private company. There are two aspects related to caried by private companies or goverment.

First impact, If the private company caried out the medical research. The private companies can carried research on many medicals projects that have positive results because they choose a highly qualified and highly experience person for the specific research. The private companies take work from the workers in a better way because they pay individuals and they can supervise to the worker, So the workers doing working in a proper manner.

Second impact, If the governmnet caried out the medical research. The government can research on it own on medical projects they have negative result in the situation, that is government choose team on favour, they can not check the qualification, they cann't check the experience of the workers. And they cann't take a proper work from workers, because there is no one can supervise them. So the worker does not work in proper way. But the workers take proper income from the government and still without any progress and working. That is the also negative impact on economy because the pay of the workers go through the taxes of local people which can also make burden on local people.

But the negative impact from private company is that they can recover money of investing to the medical projects that causes the price of medicine is to much expensive. So that's make dificulty for poor people to afford expensive medicines.

The positive impct of government research medical project is to afford medicine for poor people is easy from private companies. So this is the positive impact.

In my opinion, the both option is best. If private companies reduces the expense of medicines and if the government can supervise the workers and take working in a proper way.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both private-company and government research and give a personal view at the end, so the response is relevant to the question. You also identify a useful tension: private funding may support research, while profit-seeking can make medicines unaffordable; government research, in contrast, may help poorer patients. However, the position is not consistently clear: the conclusion says “the both option is best” without explaining how responsibility should be shared or which approach you prefer. Several claims are asserted rather than supported, such as government teams being chosen “on favour” and lacking supervision. Develop these points with a specific example and explain how they answer the question about who should carry out research.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic structure, moving from private research to government research, then a drawback, a benefit, and a conclusion. Labels such as “First impact” and “Second impact” help signal the sections. However, progression is limited because the ideas are presented as a sequence of claims rather than being clearly compared and developed. The repeated conditional openings (“If the private company…” and “If the government…”) and repeated use of “impact” make the organisation mechanical. Some links are unclear, particularly the shift from government workers’ performance to the effect on local taxpayers. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, connect cause and consequence explicitly, and make the final paragraph follow logically from the comparison.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “medical research,” “qualified,” “experience,” “taxes,” and “expensive medicines.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “workers,” “proper,” “impact,” and “research.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “Nowdays,” “caried,” “goverment,” “dificulty,” and “impct,” as well as unnatural combinations such as “take work from the workers” and “recover money of investing.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing funding, oversight, research outcomes, and affordability, and check spelling and collocations during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and conditional structures, for example, “If the private company caried out the medical research,” and you use simple sentences to express your main claims. However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often faulty. Errors include “The private companies can carried research,” “they have negative result,” and “the price of medicine is to much expensive,” where verb forms, number, or sentence construction are not controlled. Articles and agreement are also inconsistent, as in “on it own” and “the worker does not work.” Punctuation and capitalisation are uneven, including a comma splice-like connection before “So.” Practise accurate conditional patterns and subject–verb agreement, then proofread each sentence for a complete, correctly formed clause.
