Student answer (Band 5.0)
In my opinion, not only private companies should carry the fund for medical research projects but government should also pay the bills. As far as individuals are concerened I believe that it vary from person to person and their financial stability.
First of all, most of the people believes in private companies as they are doing their best in the field of medicines and research. Private companies carry research and fund for the projects because they have the setup to run everything side by side. For instance, people don't trust on the government organisations because they have ruined their reputation in marketing, research work and projects. This happened due to the laziness of the government employees.
As the matter of fact, employees in private companies work hard and prove themselves in front of their leaders which results in promotion and lot of medical research projects. As the internatioal companies fund them to carry their projects and research. And that is why they fund to carry medical research projects. However, individials personally along with government and other priate companies should carry research so that our developing country should be developed in term of medical field. Nonethless, both companies should offer vacancies for the individuals, good at publishing research articles and defense them.
All in all, I believe that we can improve the system if we start from taking smaller steps which then will be convert to biggest achievements. Furthermore, government should also take the responsibility of funding for medical research projects. This will help alot in the betterment of our country future specially in medical field.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant opinion that both private companies and government should fund medical research, and you also acknowledge that individuals’ involvement may depend on their finances. The discussion of private companies’ resources and the government’s responsibility addresses the topic, but the position is not consistently developed: the opening says both should pay, while later you suggest individuals and companies should also conduct research without explaining clearly who should take the lead. Supporting claims, such as government organisations having “ruined their reputation,” are broad and lack a specific example or explanation of how this affects research. To strengthen the response, state a clear funding model and develop each reason with a concrete example and a direct link to medical research.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “First of all,” “However” and “All in all” help show the intended structure. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because several ideas are introduced without being clearly connected. For example, the discussion moves from private companies’ work ethic to international companies funding projects, then to individual researchers and job vacancies. The relationship between these points is not explained, and “As the matter of fact” and “And that is why” do not always create clear links. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, use pronouns and references with clear antecedents, and make transitions express the actual relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use topic-related vocabulary such as “medical research projects,” “funding,” “research articles” and “developing country,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and some word combinations are unnatural or imprecise, which can make meaning less clear. For instance, “carry the fund” and “fund to carry medical research projects” do not express funding naturally; “trust on” is also an unsuitable collocation. There are noticeable spelling errors, including “concerened,” “internatioal,” “individials,” “priate” and “Nonethless.” Build a more accurate set of topic collocations, such as “fund research,” “conduct a study” and “invest in medical research,” and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the opening construction “not only … but” and clauses beginning with “because” and “which.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in agreement, verb forms and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to follow. Examples include “most of the people believes,” “I believe that it vary,” and “which then will be convert.” The fragment “As the international companies fund them…” is also left without a complete main clause, while “As the matter of fact” is not formed correctly. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, complete clauses and verb forms, then use a smaller number of well-controlled complex sentences before attempting more elaborate structures.
