Student answer (Band 6.5)
Research's are the crucial aspect of every nation because these sometimes have both positive and negative aspects. Therefore, in todays era numerous research related to medical projects are financed by private companies. I believe that government should take the charge of doing such researches even if private and individuals wants to take that initiative equally. So i am going to elaborate my viewpoint in upcoming paragraph.
Government is a pillar of the nation. Number of examinations are required for the seek of better development's and innovation's for that particular country. Medical projects, more precisely, are connected directly towards with people's health because legal authorities have large financial resources for helping such scientific studies which gives ultimate benefits to the public. Such as they provide huge amount of money for the treatment of corona, and finding an appropriate way of treating cancer with the medicine. Hence, there intensions should be provide a genuine treatments not a profit. That is why they should provide financial help on such things.
Individual's and private companies on the other hand, have only focus on profit than the public health. Private companies can invest huge money in research and they can develop new medicine and technology quickly by hiring renowned doctors and scientist as they provide money to the hospitals and universities and labourites' for any new invention of medicine. Similarly, individuals also can take part on it by donations or charities.
To conclude, although individuals and private companies are giving financial support for research's, Government should take primary responsibility of handling any sort of research of the country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by expressing a clear position that government funding is preferable to private or individual funding. The ideas are relevant, though the development is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the government's role is supported by examples like COVID-19 and cancer research, which is good. However, the discussion on private companies is slightly repetitive and could have been extended with more nuanced analysis of the potential benefits of private innovation versus the risks of profit-driven motives. Overall, the position is consistent throughout the essay, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The progression of ideas is generally clear. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'So i am going to elaborate' and 'Similarly, individuals also can take part on it'. While the paragraphing is sufficient, the transitions between ideas could be smoother to improve the flow. The referencing is generally clear, but the overall structure relies on simple linking words, which limits the score to a 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'Research's are the crucial aspect' (should be 'Research is a crucial aspect') and 'there intensions should be provide' (should be 'their intention should be to provide'). The student attempts to use some academic vocabulary, but the misuse of pluralization and collocations (e.g., 'doing such researches') indicates a limited range. To reach a higher band, the student needs to focus on accurate word forms and more sophisticated academic collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('Research's are'), pluralization ('development's', 'innovation's'), and article usage. Punctuation errors, such as the unnecessary apostrophes in plural nouns, are also persistent. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. The student needs to work on basic grammatical accuracy and proofreading to ensure that plural forms and verb tenses are used correctly.
