Student answer (Band 5.5)
These days some medical research project are described by private companies . Mostly companies very famous for medical because their result are successful. People also want to checkup from private sector. For example after checkup from private sector they satisfied their self .
Private companies also proved every thing in every place . Every person watch result and their result is also good . Private companies are legal in every where. If we see their work their are many disadvantage in private sector because some time their medicine are expire. Expire medicine destroy a normal person. Normal person can not endurance any expire medicine.
On the other hand medical research from government sector have benefits. First it is a legal and its approved from international companies. government never use expire medicine. They have not any disadvantage. For example government give the big releaf in medicine and any other problem. In the whole country 80% people wants to checkup from government sector. They can not believe any private sector.
In my opinion medical research project by government sector are very use full. I believe on government medicine. Government never wants to loss any person. Government dose are very low and it is not bad for any person. but private dose are very high and it will be a big loss of a person.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address the prompt by discussing private and government sectors, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. You mention that private companies provide 'expired medicine' and government sectors are 'legal,' but these points are not supported by logical reasoning or specific, credible examples. The position is clear, but the lack of development and the failure to reach the minimum length mean the response only partially addresses the task. To improve, you must expand your arguments with detailed explanations and ensure you meet the word count requirement to allow for a full exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow of ideas is often disjointed. While you use some transition words like 'On the other hand' and 'For example,' the logical progression between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'Private companies also proved every thing in every place,' which lacks a clear connection to the previous point. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of cohesive devices and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that links back to your main argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'good,' 'bad,' and 'checkup,' which do not demonstrate the range required for higher bands. There are also significant issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'described by private companies' (likely meaning 'funded') and 'give the big releaf' (relief). Some words are used incorrectly, such as 'expire' instead of 'expired.' To improve, you should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to medical research and public policy, and practice using synonyms to avoid repeating the same words throughout your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('some medical research project are'), incorrect verb forms ('government dose are'), and sentence structure errors ('Normal person can not endurance any expire medicine'). You rely almost exclusively on simple sentence structures, with very few attempts at complex sentences. To improve, you need to focus on basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Practicing the use of complex sentences with subordinating conjunctions will also help improve your grammatical range.
