Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position in favor of private funding. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention infrastructure and management skills, the arguments remain at a general level and lack specific, concrete examples to fully support your claims. For instance, mentioning 'many countries' is vague; a specific example of a medical breakthrough achieved by a private company would have strengthened the argument. The conclusion effectively summarizes your position, but the overall depth of analysis is more characteristic of a Band 6, as some points are under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. You use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'As a result' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'the projects in to to next level'. Additionally, there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the sentence 'due to government are spending more money', which disrupts the logical progression. Overall, the structure is clear, but the use of cohesive devices could be more natural and varied.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'infrastructure', 'transparancy', and 'innovations'. However, there are several spelling errors ('transparancy', 'competion', 'rathe', 'attracte', 'secrtors', 'efficientcy') and some awkward collocations ('fund towards more research', 'facilitating the common infrastructure'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, they indicate a need for more precision and careful proofreading to reach a higher band. Expanding your vocabulary to include more academic collocations would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms, articles, and prepositions (e.g., 'the question whether', 'private sectors more focus', 'due to government are spending'). Some sentences are grammatically incomplete or incorrectly structured, such as 'the projects in to to next level'. These errors occur frequently enough to be noticeable, though they rarely impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles in academic writing.
