Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is clear that nowadays many medical research projects are funded by private companies. I believe that research fund for science project are went privet instead of government and individuals.
Private companies are invest more then individuals and governments. because individuals can not invest and government have last prosses to invers in project fund and also we have to give very precise date for funding. But the privet companies naglate the long process of the data. they go threw the potential of the project and workers. also there is one more resone for that is government have to publish there data of project sometime it may get miss use for government and government have to punish the scientist, or some times they suspend the scientist of the project. also there is low level of salary for workers of the project, but the privet company give more then government.
Government needs success they invest for success but there is consciences of the result it may not went great. at that time media and newspapers are goes viral for the government companies are not working properly and people didn't see the level of the handwork. on the other hand private company's is get fund by bank and also they take insurance for the project that's why if the project of medical research are not good or result of this are bed so they claim the insurance and pay the lone of they bore from the bank. while for the individuals, bank did not provide lone for research for the individuals. and individuals need more fund because they need equipment and government and private company have.
For the my point point of view there is clear that private companies should carried out more funding then government and individuals.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position that private companies should lead medical research funding. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding insurance, bank loans, and government bureaucracy are somewhat unclear and lack logical depth. The explanation of why government funding is problematic is repetitive and relies on generalizations rather than well-supported reasoning. While the task is addressed, the ideas are not fully extended or supported with concrete examples, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, focus on providing specific, real-world examples of medical research projects to illustrate your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression between ideas is often disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'also' and 'and'. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. For instance, the transition between the discussion of government bureaucracy and the financial aspects of private companies is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear, singular focus would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is limited and often imprecise, which occasionally impedes communication. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'privet' for 'private', 'naglate' for 'neglect', 'lone' for 'loan', 'bed' for 'bad') and incorrect word choices (e.g., 'consciences' instead of 'consequences', 'handwork' instead of 'hard work'). The range of vocabulary is basic and repetitive, failing to demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, you should focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic terms and expanding your range of collocations related to finance and scientific research.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently marred by grammatical errors. There are persistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government have last prosses'), incorrect verb tenses, and sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and apostrophes (e.g., 'company's is get fund'). These errors are frequent and often cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically ensuring that subjects and verbs agree and that tense usage is consistent throughout the essay.
