Student answer (Band 5.0)

in this era many medical research projects are funded by the private companies .most of the company they are working very fastly such kind of projects .

at this momnet mostly private companies they are working on researched projects they provide the fund for the relevnt persons like small organization then the organization work for them whenever they research new thing significant companies put their own label and realse into the market

Government also working medical research projects they also provide the monthy stipend but litle number of project they are under the government

if we compare the private companies or government project both they have own side like private companies they are very fast in this way like they provide the fund for research program if they recognize the ability of any student they hire them as compare to govnment provide will be best on government side they provide the apportunity but they have very strict criteria as well as they dont hire the student on the other side their performance is very bad because they dont have such kind of envirnment as compare to private .private companies they have good ambiance and professtional envirnment

as per my concern i am in the favor of private companies they provide you according to you ability . you learn a lot of thing from private sector you have to make the habbit learning new thing on daily bases

for instance you will be selected in any organization the companies put effort on you to do work at the end they hire you as company employee

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a preference for private funding, but the development of ideas is limited. While you mention the speed and professional environment of private companies compared to government, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. The explanation of why government research is 'bad' is underdeveloped and relies on generalizations. To improve, you should provide more concrete examples of how private funding leads to specific medical breakthroughs or how government funding might be better utilized in specific contexts. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments need more logical expansion to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. There is a lack of cohesive devices (such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'however') to link sentences and ideas logically. Many sentences are joined in a fragmented way, and the transition between the discussion of private companies and government is abrupt. To improve, you should organize your essay into clear paragraphs: an introduction, two body paragraphs (one for each side or one for your argument), and a conclusion. Using transition words will help guide the reader through your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple terms like 'good', 'bad', and 'work'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'relevent', 'realse', 'momnet', and 'apportunity', which distract the reader. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'medical research' and 'private sector', the range is limited. To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensure you check your spelling. Expanding your range of synonyms will help you express your ideas with more sophistication and clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Government also working'), missing articles, and incorrect word forms (e.g., 'fastly' instead of 'quickly'). Sentence structures are mostly simple, and there is a lack of complex sentence forms. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with many missing commas and periods. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subjects and verbs agree, and practicing the use of complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences.
