In recent days, private companies are paying for different medical research projects. This essay will discuss what is the possible reasons for that the government should take responsibility of research department of medical.

Admittedly, private companies are paying sufficient funds to medical research projects, because they want to know about new discoveries related to science, so they can earn significant amount of money by selling that sensitive information or new discoveries before leaking them everywhere. It can create substantial damage to the public, if it is not reveling on time, and companies are selling these to other countries. For example, the data is about the treatment of severe disease, which should government know and, take some viable steps to treat the public who are suffering with that disease. Therefore, the government should pay for these projects and keep safe these sensitive discoveries that can help government to provide safety to the public.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by arguing that the government should fund medical research. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you provide reasons such as public safety and tax accountability, the argument lacks depth and specific, real-world examples. You mention 'severe disease' and 'new discoveries' in a general sense, but failing to cite a concrete example (e.g., vaccine development or public health crises) makes the argument less persuasive. The position is clear throughout, but the discussion is repetitive, and the prompt's request to consider private companies and individuals is only addressed in a superficial manner. To improve, ensure each body paragraph explores a distinct, well-supported idea.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. However, the flow between ideas is sometimes mechanical. You rely on basic cohesive devices like 'Admittedly' and 'The other reason', which are functional but repetitive. Referencing is occasionally unclear; for instance, in the second paragraph, the phrase 'it is not reveling on time' is grammatically awkward and makes the logical connection between the company's actions and the public damage difficult to follow. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer to their antecedents.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You use words like 'sensitive information', 'substantial damage', and 'holistic wellbeing' correctly, which is positive. However, there is significant repetition of basic terms such as 'medical research projects', 'government', and 'funds'. Some word choices are slightly unnatural, such as 'reveling' (likely meant 'revealing') and 'accountability of the government to pay funds' (should be 'the government's responsibility'). To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and collocations to avoid repetitive phrasing and demonstrate a broader range of vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. For example, 'what is the possible reasons for that the government should take responsibility' is syntactically incorrect. You also struggle with article usage ('the government' vs 'government') and prepositional phrases. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of errors in basic sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct word order in indirect questions, and the consistent use of articles. Proofreading for these common errors will significantly enhance your score.
