IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Nowadays, many medical research projects are funded by private companies. In your opinion, do you think that research should be carried by private companies, individuals or government?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this modern era, we have witnessed in some nations in this current era mostly medical research projects are finance by private limited organisations. According, my prespective this type of research should not only be carried by only private companies but also by folks and policymakers . In the upcoming paragraphs several reasons will be highlighted according to this statement .

To commence with, there are abundant of reasons why private company take a part in medical research programs . The first and foremost, Extremely successful business relate to assests . To explain it, in this era many private multinational companies are getting popularity among the countries owing to their different variety of their products services and generating high revenue through their sales. Moreover, all the revenue that they get opt invest in medical research programs. As a result, these companies are day by day increasing their business. Secondly, mostly companies have their firms regarding medicines. To elaborate it, many firms running their business through manfacturing medicine only because of this they spend huge amount of money in this field. For example a survey was conducted by World Health organisation found 80% private company converted their business

into medical field due to high profit generation business field in this era.

On the contrary, opponents argue that masses and high authorities also give their contribution in the medical research programs. The paramount factor, people are getting a valuable knowledge by this field. To clarify it, students will be doing different kind of experments in medical research programs along with they build their creative and congnitive skills which are fruitful for them in building their future career. Moving further government will be full aware about medical research sector.In addition, High authority make sone rule and regulation regarding experiment in the medical department field. So that no one miss use of the research according to their interest. Hence, with tles people obey law and order not only in other sectors but also in medical department. For instance An Article published by 'The Hindustan Times headlines revealed in india before medicines going to the retail and sales all the medicines fully examined by high authorities then it went to the market for sale.

In conclusion although private company have high revenue and run business in medical field through manufacturing medicines. Therefore, individually and government also give contribution in this field with the masses not only enhance knowledge but also opt this professional as a career and government control on the department
