In contemporary discourse, the question of whether a multitude of medical research projects are funded by private companies yields genuine utility has emerged as a subject of contentious debate from my perspective, primarily because it is argued by some that government invest on medical research units prioritize for promoting the research projects which is privilege for nation.
To commence with, in our fast paced society a growing rate of individuals assumes that private companies have better researches. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you present a position, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient depth. The prompt asks for your opinion on whether research should be carried out by private companies, individuals, or the government, but your discussion is limited and relies on vague generalizations rather than specific, well-supported reasoning. The example provided regarding the UNO report is unclear and lacks the necessary detail to effectively support your argument. To improve, you must expand your points with more thorough explanations and ensure you meet the minimum length requirement to allow for full task development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression of ideas is often hindered by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While you use some cohesive devices like 'To commence with' and 'For Instance', their usage is sometimes mechanical or incorrectly applied. The referencing is occasionally confusing, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words more naturally and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, central topic sentence that directly relates to your overall argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is often repetitive and sometimes imprecise, which limits your ability to convey complex ideas clearly. Phrases such as 'better researches' and 'financial background' are somewhat simplistic. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'chase their compete members' and 'champion this paradigmas'. While you attempt to use some academic vocabulary, the lack of precision and occasional errors in word formation suggest a limited range. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic terminology appropriate for a formal essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'private sectors promotes rapidly', and sentence structure, particularly in the opening paragraph where the sentence is overly long and convoluted. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect capitalization. While you attempt complex sentence structures, they are often faulty, leading to a lack of clarity. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement and article usage before attempting more complex structures.
