Student answer (Band 5.0)
The above sentence question me about my opinion. So, I would say that the medical projects are funded by the private companies is not a very good deed in the medical section because the private companies put a lot of bill and fees on the patients in all economic sectors or levels like s lower class , middle class.
I would say that the medical projects should be funded by the Government because , government provide a wide variety of oppurtunities to the students . Under the government sector students and people can stay secure and safe and can guarantee to the students of the world . In most of the private funded projects the students or people are not benefited . But whereas in government funded projects one can assure the benefits and the people can never be scammed by the government .
EXAMPLES::
1) IN my daily life I saw many people are trusted the private funded organisations and were scammed , and lost all of their money .
2) But whereas in the government sector all the friends of mine are benefitted and was never scammed or lost their money .
CONCLUSION::
I would say that not all the private funded projects or the private funded medical institutes were bad and always try to scam the people . There are many organisations which do not try to scam or rob all the money of the people .
but people fell that government funded medical projects are better than the private funded medical projects.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a preference for government funding, but the development is weak. The arguments are repetitive and rely on personal anecdotes rather than a logical analysis of the medical research sector. The ideas are under-developed, and the conclusion contradicts the main body by suggesting private funding is not always bad, which undermines the clarity of your position. To improve, you should focus on providing clear, distinct reasons for your opinion and support them with more relevant, objective examples rather than anecdotal claims about being 'scammed'.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is limited. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'I would say' and 'but whereas'. The transition between the body paragraphs and the conclusion is abrupt, and the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a clear flow of ideas. The use of headings like 'EXAMPLES::' and 'CONCLUSION::' is not appropriate for an IELTS essay and disrupts the formal tone required for Academic Task 2.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'good deed', 'bad', and 'money'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'put a lot of bill and fees' and 'guarantee to the students of the world', which do not convey your meaning clearly. You need to expand your range to include more academic and topic-specific vocabulary related to medical research, funding models, and public health policy to move beyond a basic level of expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('people are trusted', 'friends of mine are benefitted'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are simple or contain run-on structures. While there is an attempt at complex sentences, they are often faulty, such as 'the medical projects are funded by the private companies is not a very good deed'. You need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction and punctuation before attempting more complex structures.
