Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits your ability to develop your ideas. While you state a clear position, the essay is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence. Because the response is less than 150 words, it fails to address all parts of the task adequately. To improve, you must expand your arguments with more detailed explanations and specific examples, ensuring you reach the required word count to fully explore the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly' and 'On the other hand' to organize ideas. However, the logical progression is interrupted by the unfinished nature of the text. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph is incomplete, which disrupts the overall flow. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph contains a fully developed idea and that you use a wider range of linking words to connect your sentences and arguments more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You use basic terms such as 'good health' and 'serious health problems'. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'indiviuals' (individuals), 'dieases' (diseases), 'affoard' (afford), 'facillities' (facilities), and 'tratement' (treatment). To improve, you should focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensure you proofread your work to correct spelling mistakes, which currently detract from the clarity of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammar shows a reliance on simple sentence structures with frequent errors. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'Government should be support' instead of 'The government should support' and 'provide the fund' instead of 'provide funding'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing after commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement, and practice using more complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences.
