Government helped him and as a result, he got publicity as his research got succeeded.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The essay addresses the topic of funding for medical research, focusing on the role of government, private companies, and individuals. However, it lacks a clear stance—only stating agreement without presenting a dominant view. The discussion could be enhanced by clearly articulating the pros and cons of each funding source, leading to a more balanced argument. Examples are somewhat relevant, but they could be better integrated into the analysis to substantiate claims, which would strengthen the overall argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The coherence and cohesion of the essay are basic, with some attempts to use linking words like 'furthermore' and 'to conclude.' However, the overall organization is unclear and could benefit from clearer topic sentences and transitions between ideas. For instance, the jump from discussing Covid-19 and obesity to personal examples feels abrupt. Improved paragraphing could help delineate separate ideas more effectively and guide the reader better through the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate but often simplistic, with many instances of informal phrases. Terms like "has influenced in today's world" and "funded by government" demonstrate basic lexical resource. However, there are also some inaccuracies, such as "researches" which should be "research" in a general sense. Incorporating more varied and precise academic terminology could enhance the overall impression of the essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
While the grammatical range is somewhat appropriate for the task, there are several grammatical issues that hinder clarity. Phrases such as "agreed with the idea that medical research should be raised by" are incorrect and should be revised to "should be funded by." Additionally, there are issues with singular/plural agreement and article use, misleading the reader at times. For example, "medical studies has major impact" should be "have a major impact."
Overall feedback
The essay provides a decent attempt at addressing the topic, demonstrating some understanding of the importance of funding medical research. However, the argument lacks clarity and focus; take care to define viewpoints more effectively and ensure consistency throughout the piece. Improvements in grammar and vocabulary could elevate your writing significantly. Consider using more sophisticated academic expressions and varying your sentence structure to enhance your overall score in the language aspects.
