Student answer (Band 5.5)

Presently, a significant number of healthcare researches has been funding by private organisations. From my perspectives, researches should be performed by country states despite by private or single institution.

On the brighter side, I strongly favour governments should be responsible for successful research and development schemes because it is extremely challenging for single institute to afford or manage a medical research projects development. There are great impacts on education. Firstly, dessimination of information is worldwide and it awares all researchers which belongs to this field. Secondly, it is beneficial for longterm social networking and to facilitate a scientist in future project funding For instance, a useful medical research is conducted in instuitions due to knowing every company, they support and provide funds to respective department. Hence, state has a pivatal impact on institution growth and publicity.

On the dorsal side, there are some drawbacks, if a single acedemy contributes in medical projects. First of all, their knowledge is limited and also facing a significant issue for project processing. Owing to this, a data will not be expanded globally. Although, research theme hidding is important but it has few very cruciall effects on awareness. For instance, some universities are doing research in mental and physical health for that, they need a massive funds for completion of project. This is main reason, I beleive sharing data is pivotal role in education.

To conclude, states are responsible for providing funds for successful research. I think it is effective for knownledge expansion as well as to stay connected with the medical specialist. Afterwards, these researches support the healthcare practioners for making a valuable diagnostic decisions.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear preference for government-funded research. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you mention the benefits of government funding (dissemination of information, social networking), the arguments are somewhat underdeveloped and occasionally unclear, such as the point about 'knowing every company'. The discussion on the drawbacks of private research is also vague, particularly the claim that 'data will not be expanded globally'. To reach a higher band, ensure that each main idea is supported by a clear, logical explanation and a more specific, relevant example that directly relates to the prompt's core issue of medical research funding.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'On the dorsal side', and 'To conclude'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'On the dorsal side' (which is not a standard idiomatic alternative to 'On the other hand'). Additionally, the progression of ideas within paragraphs is occasionally disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the exact logic of your argument. Improving the flow between sentences and using a wider variety of linking words would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'dissemination', 'pivotal', and 'diagnostic'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'country states' instead of 'the state' or 'governments', and 'research theme hidding' instead of 'withholding research findings'. Spelling errors are also present, such as 'dessimination', 'instuitions', 'cruciall', and 'practioners'. These errors occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent the overall meaning from being understood. Focusing on accurate spelling and more precise word choices will help improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they are frequently marred by grammatical errors, such as 'healthcare researches has been funding' (should be 'has been funded') and 'despite by private' (should be 'rather than by private'). There are also issues with article usage and subject-verb agreement throughout the text. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to limit the score. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tense and pluralization.
