Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's globalized world, private companies allocate money for many medical research projects. As private companies have to pay a huge amount of taxed due to which they are unable to fund more money for research projects. I strongly believe that government and individuals should also took part to fund for research in medical field. Consequently, it will be beneficial for the society as research in medical field will help to invent new and advance treatment procedures which will to cure life threatening situations such as leukemia, GBS etc. This essay explain a few reasons to clarify my opinion.
One the one hand, it is argued that self-structured companies are paying alot of money to do research about medical field. It brings numerous benefits. Firstly, it help to invent more advanced diagnostic tools to diagnose various disease immediately such as: CT scan, MRI, Pet scan. By the help of these tools doctors can easily diagnose diseases and can give immediate treatment to the patients. Furthermore, researchers are trying their best to introduce advance treatment for leukemia, AIDS to treat patients and save their lives. For instance, now many patients are curing from cancer its all became possible due to introducing methods by researches to cope up from these diseases.
As research in medical field is playing an indispensable role to enhance the lifespan of individuals. I personally believe that individuals and government should also take part to promote this. As private companies don't have enough funds to allocate for research due to which many diseases are still untreatable. As a result, various patients loss their lives. If the government and residents spend money on research projects, researchers will be able to complete their pending research and will successfully introduced treatment for life treating conditions. It will definitely be advantageous for the humanity.
In conclusion, although private companies are funding for research projects and getting benefits, it will be wise strategy to invest money for research projects by the government so the pending research will complete and individuals will get benefits from those inventions.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the role of private companies, government, and individuals in funding medical research. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the supporting arguments in the body paragraphs lack depth. For instance, the claim that private companies lack funds is asserted without providing concrete evidence or logical explanation regarding why this is the case. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a distinct, well-supported argument rather than restating the same point about funding limitations. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the main points discussed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'One the one hand' (should be 'On the one hand'). Additionally, the logical progression between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing, such as the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used naturally will enhance the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'globalized world', 'indispensable role', and 'diagnostic tools'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'pay a huge amount of taxed' (should be 'taxes'), 'curing from cancer' (should be 'recovering from cancer'), and 'cope up from' (should be 'cope with'). These errors do not prevent understanding, but they do limit the precision of your expression. To reach a higher band, focus on learning the correct collocations for common academic phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms and subject-verb agreement, such as 'should also took part' (should be 'take part'), 'it help to invent' (should be 'it helps'), and 'will successfully introduced' (should be 'will successfully introduce'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors in sentence construction. To improve, focus on consistent tense usage and ensuring that auxiliary verbs are followed by the correct verb forms.
