Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often observed that private organizations provide fund to carried out plenty of healthcare scientific projects. In my opinion, equal efforts should come from government side to reduce the expense burden and pressure.
Admittedly, significant amount of investment is needed continuing scientific research. However, there is no doubt that this expensive research successful achievement will ultimately benefited the nation and government. So, to ensure smooth workflow, government should contribute as much as possible. A lot of private companies despite of having potential knowledge are unable to create something innovative because of shortage of budget. therefore, obtaining administrative support is crucial to motivate them to keep forwards.
On the other hand, authority has enormous other crucial fields where the funds must be allocated such as, education, health, road infrastructure, economy and so on. Subsequently, it's become difficult for the government to allocate in the research field since the source from where the administration collect money is also limited. But, considering the wellness of overall nation, a scheme or wage should be allocated to the most deserving projects. If a partial amount of aid is coming from government, it will aid in reducing the burden. As a result, the small institution with capable knowledge will continue to contribute.
In conclusion, a cumulative funding from private institutions and government will safeguards the continuation of valuable projects.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by arguing for a collaborative funding model between the government and private sector. However, the essay is significantly under the 250-word minimum, which limits the depth of the argument. While the position is clear, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the mention of 'administrative support' and 'wage' for projects is vague and lacks concrete examples or detailed explanation. To improve, you should expand on the specific benefits of government intervention and provide more robust reasoning for why private funding alone is insufficient. The under-length penalty is applied here as the response fails to meet the basic requirement for a full task response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Admittedly', 'However', 'On the other hand', and 'Subsequently'. While the progression of ideas is generally logical, some transitions feel slightly mechanical. The referencing is mostly clear, though the connection between the government's limited budget and the proposed solution could be more tightly linked. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the introduction, body, and conclusion, which helps the reader follow the argument despite the brevity of the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some relevant terms like 'healthcare scientific projects', 'administrative support', and 'cumulative funding'. However, there are instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'provide fund to carried out' (should be 'provide funds to carry out') and 'keep forwards' (should be 'keep moving forward'). There is also a tendency to use repetitive or slightly imprecise language. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensuring word forms are used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'significant amount of investment is needed continuing' (missing 'for'), 'will ultimately benefited' (should be 'benefit'), and 'it's become difficult' (should be 'it has become'). Subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency are areas that require attention. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic tense and prepositional errors would significantly improve your score.
