Student answer (Band 5.0)
Medical research refers to the analysis of available resource to find new information any idea related to the medical sector. The technology is growing and expanding rapidly in the world and the investment on it also growing. Also the medical sector is growing rapidly because of various private companies are investing on it which increase the completion and boost the growth and innovation in medical sector.
In my opinion, medical research should be free for every companies every sectors and individuals because it helps humans to go deep on it so can we discover new technology new idea for making medical secor more advanced. When making it free for everyone to conduct research government also have to make proper rules and regulations to prevent unethical activities in medical sector.
Lets take example of doctor Sanduk Ruit who is the eye specialist from Nepal who introduce new technology to treat eyes of human so that everyone can afford it and everyone can see the world with their eyes. Tge lack of money, poverty can not stop them to see the world. It indicates that a person can make a innovative idea or technology which can be affordable for everyone more reliable and trustworthy and can cure any medical problem in less time and cost.
In conclusion, the medical research and development should not be limited to any individual or to any organization, it should be open for any one any company so the people or organization who really wants to work on any project can work freely without any problem and i think government should also help the people who ho have genuine idea and want to do something big in their life. Also can help by regulating the research process.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by expressing an opinion on who should conduct medical research. However, the position is somewhat confusingly stated, arguing initially that research should be 'free for every companies every sectors and individuals' rather than clearly choosing between private companies, individuals, or the government as requested by the prompt. Ideas are presented, such as the example of Dr. Sanduk Ruit, but they are underdeveloped and only tangentially linked to the core question of funding sources. The conclusion briefly mentions government regulation and financial support, but overall, the task is only partially addressed, aligning with Band 5 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, showing an attempt at a standard essay structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression of ideas lacks clarity. Cohesive devices are basic, repetitive, or inaccurate, such as starting multiple sentences with 'Also' or 'When making it free'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'them' in the sentence 'The lack of money, poverty can not stop them to see the world.' Paragraphing is present, but the internal logical flow within paragraphs is frequently disrupted by awkward phrasing and abrupt transitions.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive throughout the essay, relying heavily on words like 'medical', 'research', 'growing', 'company', and 'technology'. There are several word choice and collocation inaccuracies, such as 'investment on it' instead of 'investment in it', 'go deep on it', and 'make a innovative idea' (using 'a' before a vowel sound). While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a basic meaning, the persistent lexical limitations and errors restrict the score to a Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as missing articles ('the eye specialist', 'the medical sector'), incorrect prepositions ('investing on it'), subject-verb agreement issues ('every companies', 'the investment on it also growing'), and run-on sentences ('When making it free for everyone to conduct research government also have to make proper rules...'). Punctuation is also weak, with missing commas in compound and complex structures. These errors frequently cause difficulty for the reader.
