Student answer (Band 4.0)
In currently, numberous medical research projects are helping through the private or government companies. So here we will discuss and debate about both companies.
The primary reason why i am disagree about it because private companies has not a lot of fund which that they can paid on any medical research projects.Because it has not can take a huge buged which medical research has and the other various things are there. On the other hand, if an private institude has a lot of distination and success in each point then should do this.
In the same way, now we will talk about and discuss related on the medical research by the government. Government should take a huge action about it. Because an private institude than government institude has a big defference. Here government gives and porovide everythings which our country has needed.
Nowdays, many private centers also paid and providing funded for medical researchs because now research has gone a very huge distination so thats wy some private sector paid funding for medical research.
In the conculsion, and the in my opinion government should spent and gives funded for the medical research because govt getting a vey big amount for the peoples through the different kind of taxies and other things. and they have also a different kind of sources from where they can get a big amount. So that's why i prefer these medical researchs paid and funded for the government and thier private companies which has a huge success in own company.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5
The response attempts to address the prompt regarding who should fund medical research by expressing a preference for government funding. However, the position is not consistently maintained or clearly articulated. The ideas are heavily underdeveloped and repetitious, relying on general statements without supporting examples. For instance, the student states 'Government should take a huge action about it' without explaining how or why. The prompt asks whether private companies, individuals, or the government should carry out the research, but the response conflates funding with execution. Because the arguments lack clear extension and logical support, the task response falls into the lower bands. The writer does attempt the prompt by giving an opinion in the conclusion, but overall development is severely limited throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The organization of the essay is problematic, lacking clear overall progression. Paragraphing is attempted, but the paragraphs contain disjointed thoughts and conversational transitions such as 'now we will talk about and discuss related on' and 'Nowdays, many private centers also paid'. Cohesive devices are either missing, inadequate, or repetitive, making the text choppy and difficult to follow. Referencing is often unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'it' and 'they', which frequently lack clear antecedents (e.g., 'because private companies has not a lot of fund which that they can paid'). The progression from one idea to the next is frequently blocked by abrupt shifts in topic within the same paragraph, resulting in a low score for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by severe word choice and spelling errors. Examples of inappropriate lexical choices include 'distination' instead of 'destination' or 'dimension', 'buged' instead of 'budget', 'taxis' instead of 'taxes', and 'institude' instead of 'institution'. The range of vocabulary is narrow, and the student struggles to express ideas precisely. Furthermore, morphological errors such as 'is disagree' instead of 'disagree' and 'paid and providing funded' demonstrate a lack of control over word formation and collocation. While some basic vocabulary is successfully communicated, the numerous errors cause strain for the reader and prevent the text from achieving a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the response, featuring a very limited range of sentence structures. Most complex sentence attempts are faulty and contain severe structural errors, such as 'The primary reason why i am disagree about it because private companies has not a lot of fund which that they can paid on any medical research projects.' There are persistent errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'private companies has'), and preposition usage. Punctuation is also erratic, with missing spaces after periods and commas. Simple sentences often contain basic structural flaws, and error-free sentences are extremely rare. The accumulation of these grammatical errors frequently distorts meaning and impedes communication.
