Student answer (Band 4.5)

In recent years of life, there are several medical research projects are funded by local registerd companies instead of government. From my daily affairs of life and practicle experience i think government need to focus on medical research projects and must fund them because if governmet introduced these types of medical projects and fund then as well it will be more benificial for both citizens and governement as well.

First of all, many people believe that government need to fund these projects intead of private companies and it is harmfull for local resident because they do not know the original price of medison, in this ways private companies tries to scame with people and they just give profits to their shop keepers of medison due to the lack of interest of government in this field

Second thing is that if many medical reseach projects are funded by our government. Then, every medicon prices are listed on the government medical websites and people can book them on portal and every order booked with tax and in this way governmeny can get direct tex on medicon as well as government is responsible for quality and quantity. For example some clinics have some medisons in which retail price is very higher than actual price and clinics use these types of medison just for their profit and it is unbenificial for local citizens who takes this.

To sum up, in my point of view it is very supportive step from government to its local resident or citizens. Government need to lanch some websites for their people as well as invest money on medical research projects and it is very phenominal step to safe their people from scamers and can get tax directly from their citizens on medical prescaption.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position that the government should fund medical research rather than private companies or individuals. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the student argues that private companies try to scam people and inflate medicine prices, supporting this with the vague example that 'some clinics have some medisons in which retail price is very higher than actual price'. While the main arguments are relevant, they tend to over-generalise and lack deep extension or sophisticated examples. The position is maintained throughout, but the reasoning remains basic, placing this firmly in the Band 5 to 6 range.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the overall logical progression is weak. Transitions between sentences are often abrupt or repetitive, such as starting paragraphs with 'First of all' and 'Second thing is that'. Cohesive devices are used mechanically and sometimes inaccurately (e.g., 'in this ways private companies tries to scame with people'). Referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in the convoluted phrasing of complex sentences. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion fails to create a smooth, unified argument, reflecting Band 5 characteristics.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary range is limited and repetitive, with frequent spelling errors that heavily strain the reader, such as 'registerd', 'practicle', 'governmet', 'benificial', 'intead', 'harmfull', 'medison', 'scame', 'tex', 'lanch', 'phenominal', 'safe', 'scamers', and 'prescaption'. The student attempts some topic-related vocabulary like 'medical research projects' and 'retail price', but the pervasive spelling mistakes and inappropriate word choices (e.g., 'unbenificial', 'safe their people') indicate a lack of control over word formation and spelling, limiting the score to Band 4.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The essay relies heavily on simple sentences and attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty, leading to severe grammatical breakdowns. Examples include run-on and poorly structured sentences such as 'From my daily affairs of life and practicle experience i think government need to focus on medical research projects and must fund them because if governmet introduced these types of medical projects and fund then as well it will be more benificial for both citizens and governement as well.' Errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'government need'), tense consistency, and punctuation are pervasive throughout the text. These frequent errors cause significant difficulty for the reader.
