Student answer (Band 5.0)
The unparalleled significance of medical research cannot be denied because it plays a very crucial role in our society. It is asserted that numerous project conducted by medical team are usually sponsored by private corporation rather then the government. In my opinion these medical research's should be undertaken by the government not the other non-governmental companies.
On the one hand, approximately half of the medical research's are held through private sectors by fulfilling the researchers financial needs and organizing the entire work plan . For instance, in my area there is an organization of healthcare. They work for the welfare of mankind. They carried out a research on children's medical condition in our entire city, which was bankrolled by private firms.
Simultaneously, it is also asserted that, these research projects should be subsidized by government through the taxes paid by peoples on plenty of different thing. For example, the food we buy from restaurant, the bills of electricity and water, the clothes we usually buy from brand contain huge number of tax.
Having discussed the entire topic in detail. I can safely reach to a verdict that all the medical based research projects should not be sponsored and supervision by commercial enterprise because it is government's job to endowed it entirely.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether medical research should be funded by private companies or the government, and presents a clear position that the government should undertake it. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the example provided about the healthcare organization in your area lacks depth and does not fully support the complex arguments required for a Band 6 or higher. Furthermore, the response has a significant penalty because the length requirement is not met, containing only 211 words against the minimum of 250 words. This under-length impacts the overall fullness of the response, limiting the score in this category.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a basic overall organization with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is attempted, though some paragraphs are quite brief. Cohesive devices are used to connect ideas, such as 'On the one hand' and 'Simultaneously', but referencing and linking are sometimes mechanical or awkward, as seen in phrases like 'Having discussed the entire topic in detail. I can safely reach to a verdict...'. The logical progression is somewhat hindered by the brevity of the text and abrupt transitions between paragraphs. Overall, the coherence meets the criteria for Band 5, showing recognizable organization despite flaws in cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, with attempts to use less common items such as 'unparalleled significance', 'bankrolled', and 'commercial enterprise'. However, there are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations throughout the text, including 'medical research's' (plural/possessive confusion), 'non-governmental companies', and 'endowed it entirely'. Spelling mistakes such as 'project' instead of 'projects' and 'peoples' also occur. While the range is minimally adequate to convey the writer's meaning, the frequency of word-choice errors restricts the score to a Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'It is asserted that numerous project conducted by medical team are usually sponsored...'. However, there is a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('numerous project... are', 'research's should be'), missing plural markers, and incorrect preposition use ('sponsored and supervision by'). Punctuation in the conclusion is also faulty, with a full stop breaking up a dependent and independent clause ('Having discussed the entire topic in detail. I can safely reach...'). These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and place the performance firmly at Band 5.
