IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Nowadays, many medical research projects are funded by private companies. In your opinion, do you think that research should be carried by private companies, individuals or government?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 4.0)
The medical research projects should be carried by the governments and not by the other sectors like private companies, individuals etc.,
The reason is government will have good impact and use for right cause. Government sectors run for the people to give their best service the patients. The other sectors misuse the medications to make more money. But government sectors save more peoples life. Private companies and the individuals aim to make money and use patients to run business. Government provide good treatment and tried to save their life maybe the process would little delay or time taking but would be reliable. Where as private sectors promise for the speedy recovery with high rate of amount to pay.
