Student answer (Band 4.5)
In present days so much medical researches projects helped by private companies.it should be carried by individials , private and also government sectors. In my opinion, it should be carried out by governement.
Many medical researches carried out by own individuals funds or sometime its from outside private companies. most least cases it caried out by governmnet by very high academics results.
In many institutes, the high profile medical researches that leads to very hgi knowledge for locals for diseases and its prevention from it are carried out by own individual personal budget or private institutes.in my opinion it should be very high burde on person who carry out research eithe he she focus on research or budget or some time it may leads to delay in results because of funds and budget. government should take responsibility for medical reserch projects to give them a fine budget, So they only focus on their research and they end up with very fine qualty of results and research.
Other very big reason of governament should given support in budget in all type of medical research project because it is very sensitive topic of research and it is give to benifit of humans in later. so the studnt or scientist should only focus on their proposal nstead of budget and also its a very big relief for private companies. Most of the privaties companies owned the research becuase they funded the research.
in conclusion, all type of medical researches should be helped or funded by governmnet in all around of the institutes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion that medical research should be funded and carried out by the government. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive throughout the essay. While the writer attempts to give reasons, such as reducing the financial burden on individuals and allowing researchers to focus solely on their work, these points lack fully extended supporting examples and remain somewhat generalized. Sentences like "government should take responsibility for medical reserch projects to give them a fine budget" touch upon the core issue, but the overall depth of argumentation aligns best with the Band 5 descriptors, as the position is stated yet ideas are under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays basic organizational attempts, such as an introduction, body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion ("in conclusion, all type of medical researches..."). However, the overall progression is heavily hindered by poor referencing, repetitive phrasing, and inadequate cohesive devices. Paragraphing is used, but the internal flow of ideas lacks logical sequencing and smooth transitions. For instance, jumping between individual funds, private companies, and government roles within the same sentence creates confusion. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or over-used, fitting the Band 4 to Band 5 threshold, ultimately reflecting Band 5 due to the presence of paragraphing and an identifiable overall structure.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic and frequently repetitive, as seen with words like "research," "budget," and "company" appearing constantly. There are notable word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as "medical researches projects," "most least cases," and "high profile medical researches that leads to very hgi knowledge." Spelling errors are also frequent throughout the text (e.g., "individials," "governement," "reserch," "eithe," "qualty," "governament," "benifit," "nstead," "privaties," "becuase"). The range is limited and minimally adequate for conveying very basic meaning, but noticeable errors cause frequent difficulty for the reader, placing this securely at Band 4.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The text demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex structures are consistently faulty, often resulting in fragmented or run-on sentences, such as "In present days so much medical researches projects helped by private companies.it should be carried by individials , private and also government sectors." Punctuation and capitalization are frequently neglected, including lowercase letters at the beginning of sentences and missing spaces after punctuation marks. Frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., "medical researches... is give to benifit") and tense usage strain meaning and make the text difficult to read, which corresponds to the Band 4 descriptors.
