Student answer (Band 5.5)
In these modern days the clinical sector has been grown significantly with huge advance treatment and various medicines are available in the market for any diseases. This huge change is because of various research's of their research projects.
Firstly,to conduct an research it is followed by several factors in order to perform the activity it requires such materials and sponsors and good knowledge scholars so majority of the fellows are dependend on coporate sectors for financial support and fewer individuals are invest by themselves for do the projects. But when private organisations are providing funding to the project they role the market with there fixed prices this will be very huge burden to the lower middle and middle classes families in the medical sectors to get the appropriate treatment and healthlife.
On the other hand if the government can take the initial response in these there will amazing results will be experienced by the people and also the government will cost the price at minimal fair then scholars and public are very happy. The facilities are available to everyone, there will no no involvement of any third party member and public can get the trust of medical facilities such as labs, medicines, etc. And also it research peers will be rewarded with reputate certificate with stipend for their pockets.
However, Instead of investment by corporate management it is better to take the research support and suggestions from the government bodies can be very beneficial.
For instance in the Japan country the eighty five percent of the research will be allowed by the government which is very useful to perform the medical research projects without involvement of any other hand.
In conclusion,I agree that government is backbone for well-being of the people's life it is better to take the charges from these body rather than depending on any private industry.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing who should fund and carry out medical research, establishing a clear position that the government is the best choice. However, the development of ideas is uneven. While the point about private companies charging high prices and burdening middle-class families is relevantly raised, other arguments—such as the example regarding Japan—are brief and under-developed, lacking specific elaboration. The main ideas are presented, but some lack the full extension and depth required to reach a higher level, meaning the response sits comfortably within the targeted band.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance maintained throughout. Paragraphing is utilised to separate distinct arguments, such as the discussion of private companies versus government funding. However, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty, with a reliance on basic transition words like "Firstly", "On the other hand", and "However". Furthermore, referencing and logical progression are occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing, making the flow between sentences feel somewhat disjointed in places, which prevents the essay from achieving a smoother organizational progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The writer uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as "financial support", "corporate sectors", and "well-being". However, there are notable word choice, word form, and spelling errors throughout the text, including "research's" instead of researches, "dependend" instead of dependent, "coporate" instead of corporate, and "reputate certificate" instead of reputable certificate. While these lexical inaccuracies and spelling slips are noticeable, they do not severely impede overall communication, reflecting a modest control of vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting multi-clause structures such as "But when private organisations are providing funding to the project they role the market..." However, there are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and structural control. Issues include run-on sentences, missing articles ("in the Japan country"), incorrect prepositions ("invest by themselves for do the projects"), and subject-verb agreement errors. Although these errors occasionally require the reader to re-read parts of the text, communication is generally maintained, which aligns with the expected control of grammatical structures at this level.
