Unquestionably, every coin has two sides and so are the people. Society's people are divided into many groups therefore, people have various thoughts on medical research projects funding. it has become a topic of debate among people. This essay will compare and contrast both of the opinions along with my opinion which is in the favour of former view will be discussed in a sensible conclusion.

Initiating with the points supporting first school of thought, firstly, private companies have many sponsors so they can give fund in a short time. The people who support this say that, for example meghna group of industries give large amount of funds in the researchers projects of medical to solve and invastigate major problems. Secondly, private companies ensure a healthy amount of salart to the researchers as a result they are highly motivated. In fact, the researcher get almost double money compare to government salary.

Conclusion On its contrasting side, people who held another view point say that private companies are too strict to their time management. They believe that, private companies can fire any researcher if they are dissatisfied with their work whereas government will give chance to the researcher to complete their task by increasing the time limit. Furthermore, when government give funds the researchers feel more trusted.

To conclude, I would like to say that, if the medical researchers are punctual and highly interested private companies are best for fund because of their facilities. However, it will depend upon the mindsets of the people that which view they are in favour of.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially. While the student mentions different funding sources such as private companies and government, the position is not always clearly maintained or supported throughout the essay. Ideas are limited and under-developed, particularly when discussing the government's role versus private funding. For instance, the mention of the Meghna group of industries is a specific example, but it is not expanded upon effectively to thoroughly evaluate whether research should be carried out by private companies, individuals, or the government. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to present a fully developed position with well-supported ideas that explore all parts of the prompt in greater depth.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation evident in the essay, but it lacks a clear overall progression. The paragraphing is somewhat confused, notably with the third paragraph beginning with the word 'Conclusion', which disrupts the logical flow of the argument. Cohesive devices are sometimes used inaccurately or repetitively, such as 'Initiating with the points supporting first school of thought' and 'On its contrasting side'. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. To improve, the writer should ensure that each paragraph has a distinct and logical function, and that cohesive devices are used more naturally to connect ideas smoothly from beginning to end.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited but minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'unquestionably', 'investigate', and 'dissatisfied', but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling, such as 'invastigate', 'salart', and 'compare' instead of 'compared'. These lexical errors and awkward collocations may cause some difficulty for the reader at times. To progress to a higher band, the student needs to expand their lexical repertoire and use words with greater precision and control, paying closer attention to spelling and word forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay displays a limited range of grammatical structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, these are often faulty, such as in the opening sentence 'Unquestionably, every coin has two sides and so are the people' and 'when government give funds the researchers feel more trusted.' There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, articles, plurals, and verb forms throughout the text, such as 'researchers projects' and 'researcher get'. These frequent errors can cause some difficulty and strain for the reader. To achieve a higher score, the writer must demonstrate better control over a wider variety of sentence structures and significantly reduce the frequency of basic grammatical errors.
