in this topic the writer says the the medical compines were funded in private companies and they does not funded in the government companies the reasion is that the medical researcher think if they have funded the private compines the private compines have given a very high profit margan and then tey were sale the medican in very high cost and there formula have does not for any other copanies so its mean the any other copanies were does not made for this time of medican and in case the any prinate were made this type of medican they have a very less compitater and on the other hand the medical reseacher were funded the government the government were made the medican and they were supply to the government hospital and then peopel were purchase the medican in the government hospital at very low price so the medical research have does not benefit for invest our money so that is the one main reason the medical research have does not invest in money/funded in the government.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response addresses the task only minimally, as the discussion of whether research should be carried out by private companies, individuals, or the government is overly repetitive and lacks proper development. While the writer manages to state a personal opinion at the end that the government should receive funding to help poor people purchase medicine, the central ideas throughout the body paragraph are limited and heavily obscured by confusion regarding who is funding whom. To move higher, the response needs to present a clear, well-developed position with distinct arguments for each entity mentioned in the prompt, supported by relevant and coherent examples rather than a circular narrative.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

Information and ideas are not arranged coherently, resulting in a text that lacks overall progression. Although the student attempts to structure the essay with labels like Introduction, Overview, Explanation, and Concultion, the internal organisation of the sentences is extremely convoluted. The long, run-on explanation paragraph lacks logical transitions and clear referencing, making it difficult to follow the writer's train of thought. To achieve a higher band, the response must use clear paragraphing, logical sequencing of ideas, and appropriate cohesive devices to guide the reader smoothly through the argument without mechanical repetition.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent errors that strain the reader's understanding. Throughout the response, words are misused or spelled incorrectly, such as 'cpmpanies', 'as me' instead of 'ask me', 'medican' instead of 'medicine', and 'compitater'. There is little evidence of less common lexical items, and the limited range is inadequate for precise expression. To improve this criterion, the writer needs to build a broader working vocabulary, pay closer attention to standard word forms and spelling, and avoid the constant repetition of core terms like 'medical research', 'private companies', and 'government'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The writing demonstrates a very limited range of structures, with frequent grammatical errors that often distort meaning. The response relies heavily on run-on sentences joined by conjunctions like 'and' or 'so', such as 'the private compines have given a very high profit margan and then tey were sale the medican in very high cost and there formula have does not for any other copanies'. There are frequent errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, modal usage, and plurals, such as 'Many Medical research project were funded' and 'the poor people have easily purchase'. To reach the next level, the writer must reduce the frequency of basic grammatical errors and attempt controlled simple and complex sentence forms with accurate punctuation.
