it is fact that , a lot of private companies has given fund to medical research project . it is fact that private companies always helped them by giving a money which proves helpful for them. from my prospective , government and even every person in society should help them by giving funds . . in my opinion , medical researches could be restrict due to the lack of funding and education . in future , if private industries , government and every person of society encourage research project , then 100 percent of medical project will successful. for instance , if we talked about past few year , we would come to know that how majority of person died during COVID-19 due to limited funding . they might not have enough money to spend on expensive chemical for this diseases . so that's why they failed to save their life . if companies had funded them , then it would be possible to protect them. .medical centres have been funded by private business .for example, this proves very helpful for them to continue their researches on other diseases like cancer, hepatitis , TB etc . this might be possible that they are likely to find its cure . this would only be possible if they continusly funding them . . in conclusion , medical researches should no only funded by private companies . although everbody should be participate in it . then there will be more chances for a successful researches . in the future , if any type of diseases comes then , research centre will able to do something which is beneficial .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing who should fund medical research, supporting a view that government, private companies, and society should all contribute. However, the position is somewhat repetitive and ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the mention of COVID-19 and expensive chemicals is introduced as an example, but the reasoning is not fully extended or explored. The discussion tends to generalise without providing deep insights or thoroughly evaluating the different funding options requested in the task. To move to a higher band, the writer needs to present a more developed, well-supported argument with clearer extension of ideas throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some basic organisation, but there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Paragraphing is noticeably disrupted by erratic spacing and disjointed blocks of text, making the logical flow difficult to follow. Cohesive devices are used rather mechanically and repetitively, such as the frequent reliance on 'it is fact that' and transitional phrases like 'for instance' and 'for example' which do not always connect ideas smoothly. Referencing is sometimes unclear, creating ambiguity for the reader. To achieve a higher score, the writer must ensure a logical sequence of ideas from start to finish, apply paragraphing correctly and consistently, and employ a wider, more natural range of cohesive devices without overusing them.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task, with noticeable errors that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Words and phrases such as 'prospective' instead of 'perspective', 'continsly', and 'no only' demonstrate issues with spelling and word form. The range of vocabulary is narrow, heavily relying on repetitive terms like 'medical research', 'funding', and 'private companies'. While the writer attempts some less common vocabulary, inaccuracies in word choice and collocation prevent clear communication. To improve lexical resource, the student should expand their range of vocabulary, pay closer attention to precise word choices and correct word forms, and carefully proofread their work to eliminate spelling mistakes.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The essay employs a very limited range of structures, consisting mostly of basic sentences with frequent errors in complex constructions. There are persistent issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'companies has given' and 'majority of person died', alongside article errors and incorrect verb tenses like 'if companies had funded them, then it would be possible to protect them'. Punctuation is also problematic, featuring erratic spacing and comma splices. These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader. To reach the next level, the writer needs to demonstrate better control over a wider variety of sentence structures, improve accuracy in verb forms and subject-verb agreement, and refine punctuation control.
